My mother gave me her copy when I found I was expecting. This was the most inspiring book I read during my pregnancy, and I read much. But it should be given to a woman BEFORE she marries. My daughter will read this as a teenager. This is one of the best books on the Christian view of dating, marriage, pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. It is not as in-depth as a book on any ONE of those topics, but it is easy to read, since the information is ‘hidden’ within a beautiful story of love and family.

If you are Christian, and have a daughter, she should have this book. If you are a Christian woman, you should have this book. If you run into this book while pregnant, read it anyway. If you run into it after your child-bearing years are through, read it, and pass it on!
