I have the Green Apple 11×7 2qt. Oval casserole dish and the 13×9 rectangle baking dish. They feature a new Nami non-stick coating for baking without grease, butter, or oils and easy, fast cleanup afterwards. I have no idea what the non-stick coating is made of but Nami touts that it makes an antibacterial surface and is FDA approved. It must be hand washed, no dishwashers and use only soft tools and no abrasive cleaners or scouring pads because the coating can be scratched.

The glass is borosilicate which is what Pyrex was made out of until the late 90s. The glass is heat resistant to 450 degrees F. It won’t shatter under extreme temperature changes like other types of glass can but it does say that even though it can go from freezer to oven to let it sit on the counter for at least 10 minutes before putting in a pre-heated oven. No stove top, broiler, or toaster ovens.

I really like using glass instead of some unhealthier metals and the Nami coating instead of dangerous Teflon.

The nonstick coating actually works. Nothing sticks and cleanup is easy with just soap and water. The coating gives the glass a slight glazed look instead of clear dish.

The 13×9 baking dish has handles for getting out of the oven easy and is a great size for cooking chicken and main dishes.

Overall, I’m very impressed with the product. I would definitely buy again.
