Fruit Picker Head Tr20090
This picker will get the fruit, but it usually gets some of the branch as well and sometimes rips off a whole branch. It pulls the fruit off. If the fruit does not come off easily, which my oranges usually don’t, I have to pull hard. When the fruit finally comes loose, the back snap of the branch sometimes causes other oranges to fall to the ground and get bruised or broken. The wire hooks can damage the fruit unless you are very careful.
The wire basket can be difficult to thread through the branches. It is also difficult to grab a single fruit in a cluster.

The Tf20090 Fruit Picker Head is well made and is an effective tool for harvesting apples, pears, etc. The tines can bend a little if the tool is handled roughly. This seems to be the only style picker head to be found these days. It a big improvement over my improvised homemade version. Rating: 5 / 5

i went to the local hardware store and bought an extending pole for this. fits perfect. clamped tight. presto !! fruit picking begins !! i had to get all the fruit picked up or my hubby was going to chop down the fruit trees !! so, i bought each of my neighbors one too !! we are all so excited.
